2023: Full of Surprises
Hi, I am Jessica Randall, a driven technologist and mathematician with a strong passion for solving complex problems and building impactful technology. I have completed my Master’s degree in Mathematics, with a research focus on Topological Data Analysis, and maintain a deep interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning. As the final days of 2023 draw near, I reflect on a year that has been nothing short of a rollercoaster. Dubbed 'The Year of Surprises,' it's been a mix of the unexpected, both delightful and challenging, a true testament to the unpredictability of life.
One of the brightest spots in this whirlwind year has been my blogging journey. I have published 23 articles, each a fragment of my thoughts and experiences, a testament to my growth as a writer and storyteller. It's a journey that fills me with immense pride and marks a significant milestone in my personal and professional development.
Travel, another passion of mine, took me to six different countries this year. Each destination brought its own set of adventures, lessons, and memories. From the bustling streets of ancient cities to the serene landscapes of hidden gems, every journey has been a chapter in my book of life, enriching me with new experiences and perspectives.
2023 also saw me stepping onto various stages, engaging in more speaking engagements than ever before. Sharing stories and insights and learning from others in these forums has been incredibly fulfilling. I am excited to continue this path in the coming year, hoping to inspire and be inspired by the diverse audiences I encounter.
This year was also significant for the bonds I cherished and the new ones I formed. Reconnecting with old friends and celebrating their successes has been heartwarming, reminding me of the enduring nature of true friendships. At the same time, welcoming new friends into my life has been equally rewarding. Each new connection opens a door to diverse perspectives and experiences, enriching my life in countless ways.
As 2024 inches closer, I, like many, have set resolutions and goals. But more than achieving them, I seek the faith, confidence, and strength to pursue them diligently. It's not just about reaching the destination; it's about cherishing the journey toward these goals.
